ORDINANCE NO. 2022 – 03
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF TRUMAN TO PERMIT UTILITY BUILDING FLOORS TO
BE CONSTRUCTED USING A FRAMED WOOD FLOOR WITH
WHEREAS, the City of Truman maintains a Zoning Code which provides that utility buildings in residential districts greater than 10 feet by 12 feet to have a floating concrete slab floor; and
WHEREAS, the City of Truman desires to amend the Zoning Code to permit such buildings to be constructed and maintained using a framed wood floor with proper anchoring.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TRUMAN, MARTIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
Section 1. Amendment. The Truman Zoning Code Section 4.6(j) is amended to read as follows:
j. Utility Building, Floors. Utility buildings in residential districts which have floor areas greater than 10 feet by 12 feet shall have a floating concrete slab floor. Such buildings may also be constructed with framed wood floors provided that anchoring of such buildings is provided.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and publication.
